Dr. Given is a psychologist with LifeStance Health in Santa Barbara. Since setting aside his clinical administrative roles, he is focused on developing Scripted Charts, an application assisting clinicians with their clinical documentation.
He is Co-Chair of the American Psychological Association Record Keeping Guidelines Revision Work Group, a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists AI and Emerging Technologies Committee, a past president of the California Psychological Association and the Santa Barbara County Psychological Association. He is on staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and is a past chairman of the Department of Adolescent/Child Psychiatry. He has been in practice as a psychologist in Santa Barbara since 1984.
